Erection Problems
Difficulty getting or maintaining an erection during sex (Erectile Dysfunction) is the most common male sexual difficulty. Erectile Dysfunction (ED) causes men significant stress and unhappiness. Partners too are impacted. Sex becomes a here-we-go-again cycle of worsening anxiety and diminishing confidence that you would rather avoid.
Erectile Dysfunction can be caused by chronic health issues, but for most men the cause is anxiety. Some fear failure or poor performance. Other men worry too much about their partner’s pleasure, putting their own enjoyment second.

Working with me
Men experiencing Erectile Dysfunction (ED) need to lower their anxiety, rebuild confidence, and focus on their pleasure.
I treat men with a mix of talking therapy, masturbation exercises carried out as homework, and simple meditation techniques. Some men find sessions with partners effective.
Initially I see ED clients weekly, but fewer session are needed as the client starts on the homework exercises. Most men with ED experience improvement within 3 months and enjoy a return to fully functioning erections within 6 months.
I provide an initial assessment at a reduced rate. This enables clients to make up their minds
whether I am the right therapist for them, and for me to assess whether I can help or whether I should refer elsewhere.
