I offer comprehensive online psychosexual therapy tailored for men.
Low Libido
Libido is Latin for lust or desire. Whether we call it libido or sex drive, low sexual desire is a common issue. There are many reasons why a man might not want sex. Depression, anxiety and grief may all impact our level of sexual desire. If we are dissatisfied or unhappy in our relationships, we may withdraw from sex for a time. Periods of high and low desire are part of the ebb and flow of life and relationships. But men often feel ashamed to admit feeling low desire. Wanting sex constantly is still mistakenly seen as a marker of masculinity.
However, some men label themselves as having low desire because of low sexual confidence, anxiety and shame about what turns them on. These men often need therapeutic help to discover fully their sexuality.
Working with me
I support men with low libido to explore the shame, anxiety and trauma that is preventing them expressing themselves confidently with partners. Once we have identified what they want and need sexually, I coach them in how they might go about getting sexual fulfilment and satisfaction.
I provide an initial assessment at a reduced rate. This enables clients to make up their minds
whether I am the right therapist for them, and for me to assess whether I can help or whether I should refer elsewhere.
