Orgasm and Ejaculation Problems

Orgasming too quickly, Premature Ejaculation (PE), is a common problem. But taking too long to orgasm, Delayed Ejaculation (DE), also known as inhibited or retarded ejaculation, is a problem for some men.

Men with Premature Ejaculation struggle to control their physical arousal, climaxing so quickly that pleasure and intimacy are cut short. In contrast, men with Delayed Ejaculation struggle to let go and orgasm. They may take up to 20 minutes to orgasm through penetration, and some may struggle to orgasm at all.

The experiences of Premature and Delayed Ejaculation are frustrating and distressing. Sex feels incomplete and partners feel frustrated and rejected.

Working with me

Men with Premature Ejaculation (PE) need to lower anxiety, build confidence and gain control over their arousal. I coach them in simple meditation and masturbation homework exercises to improve awareness of their arousal process and learn how to slow down their responses.

Men experiencing Delayed Ejaculation (DE) also experience anxiety around sex. I coach them to relax to the point where they can let go control and lean into the fuller sexual pleasure needed for a satisfying climax. I help them explore what really turns them on and identify what expectations or fantasies are getting in the way of letting go.

I provide an initial assessment at a reduced rate. This enables clients to make up their minds

whether I am the right therapist for them, and for me to assess whether I can help or whether I should refer elsewhere.
